About Us
Sri Ganga Rural Development Society
We empower women through skill development programs, making their socio-economic condition stable and providing them a chance for a better future.
In 2007, the Sri Ganga Rural Development Society was founded in the Bellary district of Karnataka as a non-profit organization. Women receive training in digital literacy and skill development from us, giving them an opportunity for a better future and empowering them through our livelihood generation and gender justice programs.

Livelihood Enhancement Initiatives
We provide socio-economic empowerment to rural women through SHGs and livelihood enhancement/micro-entrepreneurship initiatives. It builds their confidence and self-belief for enriching their future.
Tailoring Program
We provide girls and women with cutting and tailoring skills to supplement family income, which helps them earn a living and improve their quality of life. Post-training sessions, we provided hand-holding support to help the beneficiaries open their own tailoring shop, individually or collectively.

Instructor Training Workshop
We conducted a basic literacy implementation program for slum areas and illiterates in Bellary. This program aims to promote literacy among slum people. Book kits were distributed to the teachers at the end of the workshop.15-May-2022
Toys Making Training for Rural Women
We have trained around 55 women to make soft toys The objective of this training is to empower these 55 women economically and learn new skills to improve their standard of living. The NGO volunteers provided hands-on training to the women to help them learn the art of making toys easily. The women were trained step by step through step by step training and told to practice in Bellary.02-Jun-2021

We distributed 30 Notebooks and Pen Boxes to poor students in Bellary.Our Impact
